My darlings (as Kit Redford would say), I’ve written a prequel Christmas scene for the upcoming (2018) book about Kit, a minor but pivotal character in Seasons Pass and Unnatural.
Kit, a former prostitute and owner of Redford’s gentleman’s club is forced to confront his past in the shape of Henry Asquith, Duke of Avesbury, his protector some twenty years ago. This story will feature many of favourite things: older lovers, reunited lovers, lovers-turned enemies-turned lovers and flamboyant waistcoats. Also, lots of angst. You can read the bonus scene here. There may be chestnuts roasting on an open fire.
Enjoy! *mwah*

I’m wondering if you are still planning on having this story come out this year.

I’m afraid not 2018, WS, but it will *be* out at some point – it’s almost half written. It won’t be a Christmas story though so it should be sooner than a year from now (though my werewolf duology is the main focus right now, so …)

Thank you! I enjoyed the Winterbourne stories (which are lighter), but am curious about Kit.
I wish you well with the werewolf duology.
